Do you know about the legend of El Caballito, or the Legend of the Little Horse? According to legend, there was a great Mexican revolutionary that was about to be executed for his rebellious actions. During his last night, his final request was a shot of tequila. His wish was granted and a shot of tequila was poured onto his personal shot glass. When he took his final shot, there was a small golden horse at the bottom of the glass. 
Up until this day, the shot glass that contains a tiny horse at the bottom is still called the “El Caballito”.
